The Florist and the Loft

My fiancée is preparing our wedding and she went to Queen Street West to check the florist, but instead of meeting with the florist, she got the chance to look into one of the lofts that are up for sale in that area. It is a hard loft from a garment factory. The asking price was tempting and if ever we are not going to marry soon, she said that we could drop by again to both check it if it is feasible for us to purchase it. For me, as long as she inspected it and she likes it, then it is good for me.

The trip to the florist became a whole day affair for my fiancée in real estate bargaining. She went to one Toronto Loft to another. It became an obsession as I may say it. She spent the whole morning scouring the nearby area for good Toronto lofts.

She was not able to finish her chore for the day because partly of the house hunting but also because the florist was on an emergency visit to the doctor. Hopefully he will be well when the time comes days before our wedding. We do not want to hire another florist and rush everything while all is planned already. And also, the florist is a good friend of ours so we know his calibre.

Back to where we began, my fiancée now is looking for a nice Toronto condo. She believes that condominium is more of her type than a loft.

She went to King Street West to look now for Toronto Condos. There are several condos to choose from. However, she was not successful enough to find one that is suitable to her taste. She always follows her gut feeling and it is always true for her. When she felt that a deal was not good enough, she will not push through and it is the right thing because it is indeed not the best for her.

For now, she stopped looking for real estate because she needed to focus on our wedding. May be in the near future we might be able to look again because we still have this dream of having our own place and not just rent. We want a place where we could rear a family, a real spacious place for us. I do hope that our finances will be right in the next 2 to 3 years for us to buy one.
